Situation: I recently used up all my memory on my video camera. I discovered this fact after I pulled out my pocket video camera to capture my daughter’s first day of school and after hitting record got the dreaded “OUT OF MEMORY” message. WHAT??? How could I let this happen, after all, I upload everything. I work for a video sharing platform company. This doesn’t happen to me… The point of this message is to prevent others from this unfortunate event. If you are like me, you probably use a number of devices to capture video. On a fairly regular basis, I will use a combination of my iPhone, the handy dandy Kodak Zi8, the fancy shmancy video camera, my web cam or even my iPad to capture video. The irony of capturing these precious memories is that they take a lot of stinkin’ memory. It is easy to get carried away with capturing videos and simply storing them on your mobile device or hard drive. But remember my pretties, those beloved devices won’t last forever. So, stop what you are doing right now and get those videos online. Then when all your videos are in one place, you can enjoy them from wherever you are. So please, get those videos online and start sharing. Your devices will come and go. Storing and sharing those memories can last a lifetime. Keep those memories safe with a few easy steps.
