Show Don’t Tell, with Video March 31st, 2011 / Comments: 0 One of the greatest perks about working at Pixorial is that I “have to” take video of my kids. It’s my version of Quality Assurance — I capture my children on video and then spend time at work editing and sharing, using the tools on our site. Frankly, I’m starting to feel a bit guilty that I’m collecting a paycheck for this process! Last week I had my most proud Co-Founder / Mom moment ever. My 8 year old daughter sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” in her school play. She wasn’t the least bit nervous. In fact, she was completely poised, and about 50% on key. The thing is, words don’t do her performance justice. Using words, I can only tell you about the performance. Even photos fall short. But with video, I can show you. Video is the most powerful tool we have for sharing experiences today. (And Pixorial makes it really easy to do.)
