Pixorial Wins the Apex Award! October 24th, 2012 / Comments: 0 We’re in a festive mood today. No, it’s not the fresh snow on the ground putting us in an early Holiday spirit. It’s the futuristic-looking award sitting here in the office. Last night Pixorial was recognized as the winner of the Technology Project of the Year Apex Award from the Colorado Technology Association. (That’s Platy, our unofficial project mascot, admiring its clean lines and cool, blue color). Pixorial was recognized for its innovative integration with Google Drive. Google selected us as a launch partner because – unlike any other app on the market – Pixorial makes it easy to upload new and vintage videos to a secure video library, and the access those videos from any device. The integration of Pixorial means that users seamlessly sync and access their video files from Google Drive, making our goal of anywhere video a reality. This award is a true honor, and it’s a reflection of our vision for the limitless potential of video. What motivates us every single day is the firm belief that video can be easy, fun, and downright transformative to the way we live, work, play, and share our lives with others. With that in mind, we’ll be rolling out several new features in the next few months that will make your storytelling experience even better. We were honored to join other innovative and forward-thinking organizations – including the U.S. Olympic Committee, Cologix, and ViaWest – as finalists for this award. The Apex awards recognize technology innovation and excellence in Colorado…and there’s a lot of it to go around. Colorado has had an entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit from its inception, and today’s tech companies are continuing that fine tradition. From Denver to Boulder to Colorado Springs and Ft.
