Pixorial Recognized as 2010 Laureate and Finalist by the Computerworld Honors Program

The Computerworld Honors Program has recognized Pixorial, the first online video platform of its kind, as a Laureate and finalist in the new media category. The company was awarded the honor based on the case study: Pixorial and Hitachi Data Systems collaborate on high-density storage performance for versatile, cost efficient growth of a world-class video platform. This year’s Honorees were commemorated during the 22nd Annual Laureates Medal Ceremony & Gala Awards Evening on June 7, 2010 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. For over two decades, Computerworld Honors has acknowledged those individuals and organizations that have used information technology to benefit society. “We are honored to be recognized as a Laureate and finalist by Computerworld for our online video service,” said Andrés Espiñeira — Co-Founder and President of Pixorial. “Our mission is to liberate the world’s video.
