Mywedding.com teams with Pixorial to deliver video memories

When the giant of the online wedding industry met the up-and-comer of the video tech market, it was a practically perfect marriage. Mywedding.com, led by CEO Woody Pastorius, and Pixorial, owned by CEO Andres Espineira, launched a new line of video tools on the mywedding.com website, designed to bring memories alive for bridal couples and their families. The union between the two companies was a mix of marketing, technological and symbiotic vision that was too good to pass up. Pastorius and Espineira both chose to relocate their businesses to Douglas County. They understand the power of the Internet to build their companies and share a keen awareness that it really is the heart that makes people tick. Pastorius moved the mywedding.com headquarters to Castle Rock in 2010 with about 15 employees. He has since grown to more than 34 employees and has captured markets in more than 220 international communities. Espineira moved Pixorial to Englewood’s Park Meadows area in 2011 with 14 employees and an online service that helped the company win the 2010 Computerworld Honor Award. Pixorial delivers a video platform for consumers to take any kind of video – from tapes to cell phone recordings – and transfer them to a DVD that can be shared online or with family members.
