Pixorial is Headed to Prom November 10th, 2010 / Comments: 0 Thanks to the organizers behind Events for Nerds, everyone gets a second chance to experience prom and this year, Pixorial is going to the Social Media Prom to capture moments in video. In preparing for the event, the team has already begun to experience those familiar pre-prom jitters and the feeds on Plancast show that everyone else is too. Questions like what to wear, where to eat, hair suggestions etc. Think back to your last experience. What was your best memory? My memory goes something like this… Cool: borrowed my dad’s car Not cool: his car looked very similar to an undercover police car Cool: worked at a tuxedo store so my date’s outfit was free Not Cool: my mom asked one of my friends to be my date because my boyfriend had just broke up with me Cool: Everyone loved my date Not Cool: Everyone loving my date left little time for dancing, conversation etc. So I wasn’t the prom queen, but I did capture some great photos and video from that big day. Sharing those memories – well that is for another time. Perhaps a side-by-side following our big Prom night this Thursday. Anyway, the Social Media Prom will be held on Thursday, November 11 at the Parlor in San Francisco.
