Leadership Team

Pixorial’s team is led by accomplished business professionals with track records working for major brands such as Oracle, Microsoft, Netscape, Disney and Canon; as well as substantial executive experience with technology startups. Collectively we have pioneered new technologies, designed innovative software applications, conducted hundreds of hours of user interface analysis, developed pre- and post-IPO business strategies and created new products and memorable and effective brand awareness campaigns.

One thing that sets the entire Pixorial team apart is our absolute commitment to solving the complex problems inherent with online video today. We believe consumers demand options and flexibility when it comes to recording and using video; Pixorial’s focus is to make video a part of the average person’s everyday experience.

Andrés Espiñeira

Founder and CEO www.linkedin.com/in/espineira

Andrés is the founding CEO and visionary behind Pixorial. An entrepreneur with a strong background in product strategy, marketing and software development, Andrés founded Pixorial with a simple, yet ambitious mission: to liberate all of the world’s video and make video memories easy to access, share and enjoy.

Andrés honed his technical skills during his early career at Oracle Corporation, managing the engineering team responsible for the rollout of Oracle 7 on UNIX platforms, and still enjoys humbling the youngsters with his coding skills. Andrés spent four years in management at Internet pioneer Netscape Communications, where he played a leading role in shaping Netscape’s initial electronic commerce product strategy. After Netscape, Andrés was Vice President of Marketing of Open Grid, Inc., helping to secure a $19M round of funding for the company’s wireless Internet solutions aimed at Fortune 100 companies.

After a short-lived early retirement and a sail across the Atlantic Ocean with his father, Andrés turned to entrepreneurship, which allows him to leverage his technical savvy along with his product strategy, marketing and software development experience. Andrés has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Master in Management from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.
