Another year, another batch of videos captured. The number of video-enabled devices continues to grow but this past year saw a radical change in the way that consumers preferred to capture their video.
Did you know that mobile video was the fastest growing segment in video this year? According to a recent InfoTrends survey, nearly 40 percent of respondents reported that their mobile phone was their primary video capture device.
The rate at which we take video is also increasing. Looking back at the InfoTrends survey, 27% of mobile phone owners reported using their devices for video capture at least once a week.
It is an exciting time to be in the video business especially during a period of growth. In the past year, we have released apps for the iPhone, Android, iPad and Tablets. We also have make it possible for users with HTML-5 capable phones to capture and share their videos.
The benefit of capturing mobile videos with Pixorial means that consumers can safely store videos in the cloud and share to their favorite social networks while out and about.

We are loving the sea of orange in Colorado today. Orange is our favorite color after-all. With excitement abound for this weekend’s Broncos’ game, even our mascot is Tebowing!
Being a Denver based company, we (and our mascot) can’t help but show our support for the local quarterback / evangelist / philanthropist / this game is overrrrrOMG how did they just comeback king! For those of you who have been hiding out in your lead lined fallout shelter (Hey, I don’t blame you. It is, in fact, 2012), I’m of course talking about Tim Tebow. If you’re one of the Broncos fans so fortunate as to have acquired tickets to the game in Boston, be sure to capture and share (I hear Pixorial is great for that…) a bit of the excitement and general 4th quarter hysteria for us poor souls back here in Denver. Here’s hoping Paul Revere looks good in blue and orange!
